I am 8-9 weeks pregnant. I am 24, and my boyfriend and I have been together for about a year. He’s 25. We are both mature, working adults. I didn’t plan on getting pregnant, but I did… and I’m going to be responsible and have it. When I told my boyfriend he took it pretty well and then even became excited. We decided to move in together next month… (we were talking about moving in together before I got pregnant) — so it’s not like we are moving faster in our relationship just because of my pregnancy.. and he was being so so supportive and loving ((All of this was a month ago))
Now all of a sudden he starts freaking out on me. I was talking to him yesterday and I told him I wasn’t feeling well and he told me that was my choice to deal with all the pregnancy symptoms because I choose to keep the baby. (that felt like I just got stabbed in the heart)… well this morning he apologizes for saying that, but he said he’s in a panic mode and needs some time, because it’s just now hitting him how much his life is about to change. I’m freaking out right now. I quit smoking the day I found out I was pregnant, and now I want to smoke so bad right now. I’m having a nervous break down I think.
What do I do? I want to talk to him, but I want to give him time. Is it normal for guys to go through this
