My fiance and I got engaged in September of 08. We recently purchased a home together and it seems that ever since then our relationship has become really rocky. We have had a good relationship for the most part throughout the time we have known each other. We are very different people and I thought that was supposed to be a good thing! Honestly though, it seems that there are times when we seem more like friends than boyfriend/girlfriend. We don’t engage in intimacy as much as we used to and that bothers me. We both are busy and with purchasing the house it has been a challenge getting used to each other and having a shared space we are both paying for. Before, he lived with me in my home and now that it is our home he says he feels like he can’t do anything. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to be in a loveless relationship nor have him resent me for not being who he wants me to be. I’m willing to compromise but not totally change. He should love me for who I am.
