I have known this girl for a while now. We play around with each other and we flirt with each other. We hang out at the same place every monday and I hang with her brother a few times a week too. Yet when she is sober, we talk in all, but she would keep her distance at times.

I know she is going through some problems, getting a divorce, and have a daughter and a couple of other problems on top of that.

When we hang out and when she has a good buzz going on or drunk, she will not leave me alone at times, yes we will play around and flirt with each other. But at times when she is buzzed and I dont antagonize her, and keeping my to my own business, she will look at me and stare me down at times, or antagonize me. When I am talking with one of my best friends (female) she would get jealous and wont talk to me for the rest of the night at times.

I have asked her out one time before and she said yes, but she had to cancel on me. My friend (guy) was trying to get me to ask her out for a bit, but she got into trouble and when I asked her out again, she was shocked and could not look at me and told me she would only do it as friends. But I eventually told her how I felt about her and I liked her and I dont want to do anything to hurt our friendship but she was flattered, hugged and kissed me on the cheek and gave me an “I love you.” I was left speechless when she done that to me. I thought she would give me give me a I dont want a relationship speech.

Recently Ive learned that she and my friend were seeing each other. I learned tonight that she does not know their relationship status. Last I heard about him is that he was supposed to get married soon, but I guessed he called it off, and yet he pushed me toward her. Yet she still flirts with me and playes with me and “sort of” seeing my friend.

I’m not really hurt or anything, maybe a little upset. But the thing that is turning me off for relationships is a couple of gigs I have comming up. But it seems she does not want to let me go yet not to keep me close.
